113: Cultivating Space — Part 2

This is a two-part series and a deeply meaningful conversation about what it means to cultivate space in your life and how doing this can make a huge difference in how you exist and how you FEEL. In this second part, we talk about being curious about your feelings about space and what cultivating space means for you right now. Feeling “off”? Maybe you’re not off at all. What if you’re actually ON to something? Cultivate space in your MIND while your body is on the move. Journaling is one way to create space. Ask yourself the “what if’s” that BH shared at the end of the episode. 111: Your Body is the Least Interesting Thing about You (with Lauren Busby)

This is a message that needs to be heard. We’ve been trained by society that how we look is super important. But it’s not. In fact, our guest in this episode says the way we look is the least interesting thing about us. How do we change that narrative? It starts with us making a change in our circles and not spending time talking about our bodies. Lauren Busby is a mom of 4 who used to be obsessed with the gym. She stepped on the scale twice a day. She counted everything she put in her mouth. One day she realized she had a problem! So she made a change. She stopped obsessing about her body so she could do things of utmost importance and help those who truly need her. She felt a call in her heart to help women feel good about themselves by sharing herself in a raw and unfiltered way. She works to be a safe place for women to feel good about themselves by proclaiming body neutrality. After listening to this episode, you will be inspired to make a change in how you view your body and you’ll strive to be satisfied with your body without becoming obsessed.
